Four legs series metal domes (also named as 4-leg tactile metal domes, F-series metal domes or cross metal dome) are four-legged dome designed specifically for mounting on a wide variety of switching surfaces, including single or double-sided printed circuit boards, flex circuits, and membrane switch panels, where traces of negative and positive can designed under the dome on the same side of circuits.

F-series metal domes has better click feeling than Circle and Oblong series domes, and its life cycle is longer than Triangle dome, its normal life times are >= 1 million. The height of it is higher than other domes, based on the same diameter, force and clicking ratio. That’s why the cost of cross metal dome is higher than others.
